I've never joined a gym, most I have been in are crowded interior spaces which are not very inspiring for workouts so my exercise has always been outside, biking, running. My wife has been a life long gym goer so her experience has been wider. Both of us joined Ironheart in Marfa for 3 months and have been going to the gym daily. This place is very clean, smells great, and it has all the machines and workout equipment of any top of the line gym. The interior spaces are light and airy. There are 3 floors, the top floor has one wall of windows letting natural light , and has all the bikes, treadmills, and step machines you would want plus plenty of floor space to stretch and do floor exercises. The main floor has all the weight equipment with another floor in the basement for additional workouts. The owner Alan is friendly as is his staff. It is never packed with a bunch of sweaty people where you can't move or get on with your workout. Super clean, great environment to work out in. My wife life long gym goer says "best gym I have ever been in"...no hype.
