Unless you have an hour and a half to waste on your vacation, you might want to just pick up a frozen pizza . We were here over Memorial Day weekend when there were about 5 people in the place and were advised it would be an hour and a half wait. We decided to hang out and wait but It's been over an an hour and a half and we're still waiting. Stand by....
Couldn’t get anyone to help us when we walked in, when we finally flagged a lady down she told us it would be an hour and a half wait and then walked away without giving us a table or a menu. Marfa has been full of awful customer service but this one truly topped the rest.
Very happy to find some excellent thin crust pizza in Marfa. Yes, the wait can be long, so plan ahead. We were told it would be about 2 hours. Best plan, put in your order and let them message you when the pizza is ready. We grabbed a beer at a nearby bar, played some pool, worked up an appetite. Made for a good, mellow evening.
Great thin crust pizza is to be had in Marfa's environs as you head East out of town toward Alpine(it'll be on your right) this gem of a pizza maker turns out an impossibly perfect thin crust delight with a broad selection of toppings. Ours was italian sausage and red peppers on a cheese and red sauce base when composed had the balance and texture that will be the standard I'll compare to years to come. If you're after great thin crust pizza, this is the place.
Okay, we finally got the pizza. Definitely not worth the wait. DiNorgio would have been a better option
Pizza is made fresh right in front of you. The crust is on point, staff is friendly, building is clean, and they're open when they say they are. Will definitely come here again next time we're in town.
